We use 100% geological indication protected reed that grows on our reed beds in the Camargue, in the south of France. Our artisanal products are 100% made with traditional Camargue techniques.
Our products benefit from shorter transport, protection of origin and manufacturing tradition.
Thanks to direct access to the raw material, we integrate into the eco system to ensure traceability and quality.
Reeds grow naturally on our reed beds, without the slightest use of chemicals. The plant is renewed every year. Human intervention is reduced to controlling water levels in order to optimize quality. Our exploitation contributes to the ecological balance of these fragile areas and to the maintenance of biodiversity.
The quality of reed is determined by its environment. We are fighting against coypus which damage the reed beds and against baccharis halimifolia which supplants the reed. Thanks to our know-how in water level control, protection of bird species and regeneration techniques, our reed has an exceptional and uniform quality. With a beautiful height of 4 meters, it is agile and solid at the same time.
We use inverted reed handles that are tied together. Our reed mats are 3 cm thick, which is 4 times thicker than mass market products.
Reed mats can be used to make roofs.
They are also used to create windbreak or privacy hedges, hunting shields, fences, etc.
We offer reed parasols and huts in di!erent formats.

My family has been growing Camargue reed for three generations. Reed grows naturally on our reed beds, one of the largest estates of reed beds in France.
The estate is located in a natural area of ecological, fauna and flora interest, which is also important for bird conservation. Reed beds can be used to fix water banks or decontaminate soil. Reed beds shelter the nests of ducks and other aquatic birds, serving as spawning grounds.
Harvesting reeds is a 700-year-old Camargue tradition, a tradition that keeps its marshes, its birds, and its people alive. It was almost the gold rush in the 1960s. There were up to 200 harvesters and they picked everything by hand. Today, mechanization has revolutionized the industry.
